TELL – week 5

Technology for teaching listening

In fifth meeting , we  discussed about technology for learning listening. And in this meeting the group listening has been presented their syllabus. They were explained some the technologies can help the teacher to teaching listening. So this is their syllabus of the fifth meeting in TELL.

  1. LEARNING OUTCOMES

Technology for teaching  Listening is designed to develop Listening skills  using technology. After studying this subject, student are expected to differentiate sound of the English language correctly and apply listening skills orally and written in resolving  problem, and can adapt with the situation they faced.

Materials are presented in variety technology tools and methods out there for teaching listening that can make the process easier and more fun for both teachers and students.  Evaluation of students’ achievement is based on participation, assignment and final test.

  • Materials

The materials of this course are combination of teacher’s notes and the assigned textbook to meet students’ academic needs and requirements. Educational tech-nology will be utilised in the classroom to clarify the materials main points and to integrate knowledge, intellectual, practical and transferable skills.
